B&B Hotel Lyon Centre Monplaisir

The location of the monplaisir is convenient, just a short walk to the local supermarket. We appreciated the free in-room wifi with a surprisingly good speed. The air conditioning in the room helped keep us cool, even if it wasn't perfect. It had good transport links.

Very cramped accommodations without luggage racks!!! Towels should not require daily request for appropriate types!!! Bathroom odors were unpleasant, indicating a need for better maintenance!!! Lighting in rooms far too dim.

we appreciated spending 1 night here. the place was fairly clean and staff was friendly and great. they gave us a double room with comfortable beds. it was in a central location, to metro station which can take you to the vieux lyon in 10 minutes or so. you can find les gamins de la place a short walk to the hotel to a have lunch.

Nice place with free Wi-Fi in rooms, air conditioning, and cots for kids. I remember how the staff helped me with technical issues during my first stay. I recommend reserving a room in advance. I'm coming back for a xmas.

It was just a balanced option for a weekend in Lyon at a reasonable price. The unique keyless entry made getting around very easy and secure. Be aware that breakfast needs to be booked ahead of time.

The location is a major highlight, only a block from the metro and close to a mini-market. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was basic and could use more variety, and while some staff were polite, others seemed unwell and unfriendly . The overall cleanliness varied as the entrance looked dirty at times.

Central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels available in the double room. Big beds and a wonderful bathroom. Amicable staff and quick to respond. Marvellous location near the metro.
